Earlier this week, JAY Z’s TIDAL X: 10/20 concert went down at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The lineup was stacked, and since the arena had a curfew, many artists were limited to one to two song sets.

Hit-Boy was one of those artists, but he made the most of his time. Instead of rocking a song that everyone has heard countless times, the emcee/producer decided to debut a brand new record – the only one to do so, if I remember correctly – with some help from Quentin Miller (who would perform alongside Meek Mill during the show… and would wrongly be called “A$AP Ferg” by TIDAL) and Travi$ Scott, while reuniting with his longtime Surf Club compatriot Chase N. Cashe.

Not one to make fans wait, Hit quickly follows up the debut performance with its official release. With Hit’s keys paired with a bassline designed to “shake the inner walls of your head,” Chase handles the hook for La Flame and the WDNG CRSHR to wax their respective poetics over. Check it out below.
