Tunji Ige debuts a new single, “On My Grind,” before he embarks on a European tour with The Neighbourhood.
The sounds is nothing the rap world hasn’t heard (nor critiqued) before, but there’s a sense of fullness to the Philly rapper’s new tune. With booming, triumphant trap production behind him, Tunji Ige makes the world respect the hustle of a “young n*gga on his grind.” There’s going to a good deal of people who get turned off from the sound, but there isn’t a monotonous nature to the music, which can be found the autotune rap/crooning world.
