Although Dreamville’s Cozz released his debut album, Cozz & Effect, in 2014, the well-rounded project still receives plenty of consistent spins at the DopeHouse. Recently returning from J. Cole’s Forest Hills Drive Tour, The South Central (I refuse to refer to it as “South Los Angeles”) emcee and Bas revisit the album for the latest video, “I Need That.”
The visuals recap the two emcees’ travels throughout the country during the tour, which includes stops in New Orleans, a hyper-competitive foosball game, interacting with fans an much more. “I Need That” provides an update for fans wondering what Cozz and Bas have been up to following the release of their albums Cozz & Effect and Last Winter, respectively. Let’s hope that the two reveal some new tunes soon, also.
