In my humble opinion, Jadakiss’ T5DOA single “Jason” is one of – if not the – hardest song to drop thus far in the Fall of 2015. Swizz Beatz provided a perfectly dark backdrop for the raspy-voiced spitter to drop bars over.
While I expect a plethora of rappers to try to tackle the beat (and some have… sadly), not everyone will handle it as well as Jadakiss. Fortunately, Curren$y is the exception and not the rule, as he tackles the beat for a precursor to his upcoming album Canal Street Confidential.
Canal Street Confidential arrives December 4th.
