Similar to his track as a part of the group Achozen, “That’s The Zone,” that was released in the summer 2015, the RZA has once again teamed with speaker company Boombotix to reveal another previously-unreleased track from his underground chamber. This time, he reaches back and grabs something from over twenty years ago: a track by the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, “Obey Me.”

Originally titled “B*tches Better Obey Me,” the song was crafted during the studio sessions for ODB’s debut album Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version back in 1994. RZA explained the madness behind the single to Rolling Stone:

“He was f*ckin’ buggin’ out on this song that night. Dirty felt that anything he made was supposed to be released. I was more critical of what we released. And even though some people may listen to his first album and go, ‘Sh*t, this is crazy, this song fits right in.’ To me, there was a method to the madness of what we did. And with the stuff that didn’t make the album, there was a clear reason why in the narrative of what I was striving to create with his style.”

People who purchase the REX portable speaker will receive three versions of the song: the original, plus two remixes from Shash’U and High Klassified. The Shash’U version can be heard now, however.
