Production duo Classixx enlist the God of all Gods, T-Pain, for their new single, “Whatever I Want.”
Premiered via Zane Lowe’s Beat 1 radio show (where’s the surprise there?), the duo said they’ve been fans of T-Pain for a long time and remember first hearing the autotune expert’s “Can’t Believe It” released in 2008. “We’re still reeling from the fact that this song came together, it was really fun to make it, fun to play,” the duo said.
Channelling the vibe off the calming single the duo first remembers hearing from T-Pain, Classixx creates a spacious, ethereal environment to let the Tallahassee-bred singer to let the world he can do whatever he wants. The song is generic as hell, but it’s T-Pain, so of course I’ll listen.
