Following his single “My Beyonce” with DeJ Loaf, Lil Durk continues pushing sounds from 300 Days & 300 Nights with “Industry.” With a little bit of wordplay, Durk takes shots at rappers in the music industry who pretend they’ve done work “in the streets.” No one is accusing Durk of any wrongdoings, but I’m sure he knows plenty of people, including ones from his city, who try to capitalize on his struggles and experiences (case-and-point: artist such as Slim Jesus). It’s an epidemic that only the general consumer can solve.
