blame it on JES7 November 17, 2015

When bringing up the names of influential emcees from Detroit, Ronnie Euro, aka Phat Kat should never be left out of the cypher. Born Ronnie Watts, the young Detroit playa has a storied history that leads back all the way to the early-to-mid 90s when he was known as 1 1/2 of the group 1st Down alongside a then unknown J Dilla.

Together, the two have recorded a couple of EPs, with A Day Wit The Homiez (and the self-titled single) as their most known material.

Since then, Phat Kat has gone on to record with Slum Village and released The Undeniable LP in 2004. Even more recently, the Detroit spitter dropped Re-dedication To The Suckers which you can order here.
