Anybody that has watched any “celebrity couple rehabilitation” show knows that the draw isn’t the hopes that said couple will ultimately work out their differences. No, no, the shows’ popularity is dependent on the petty chaos and eventual dissolution of the relationship. It’s bar-lowering, it’s rather insipid and it makes for great ratings.
In his new video, Troy Ave plays on those television shows while portraying the therapist to these couples. While it’s obviously supposed to be a parody of those shows, it’s ironically an example of life imitating art and all its intricate malarkey.
