Swedish pop group Miike Snow started to gain some buzz in America a couple years ago with their album, Happy To You. A couple weeks ago, they returned with the sample-heavy, jazzy “Heart Is Full” as the first single off their upcoming album, III. A month later, the group has released a remix featuring everyone’s favorite duo, Run the Jewels. It’s like the know how to get into all the good ears in America.
Leaving the verses to Killer Mike and El-P, Miike Snow lays the backdrop to Run the Jewels running all over this damn jewel. (Someone HAS to have made that pun at some point, right?) Mike and El-P each add a quick verse giving their stance on why a woman should be with them for the rest of their lives.
This is the type of stuff that gets a bunch of rappers wanting to work with you. Run The Jewels sounded so good over the airy production, and I’m sure this won’t be the last time Miike Snow collaborates with hard-nosed rappers like Killer Mike and El-P. Listen to the “Heart Is Full” remix below.
