With the major news on the comic book front are arguably the much-hyped Batman v. Superman: Dawn Of Justice and Suicide Squad from DC, Marvel isn’t letting things go by quietly. Alongside a new installment of the revamped X-Men series, the Marvel Cinematic Universe kicks off Phase 3 with the third volume of Captain America, based on the company’s critically acclaimed ‘Civil War’ storyline.

Well, sort of. While it appears that there will be some continuation of that tale, which pitted Captain America against Iron Man, this version seems to revolve around The Winter Soldier rather than the government-ordered mandate that superheroes reveal their identities to the public. Nonetheless, the film will mark the debut of the Black Panther (portrayed by Chad Boseman), and there is a high likelihood that Spider-Man makes his formal introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well.
