One of ESPN2’s most popular shows is the irreverent His & Hers, where hosts Michael Smith and Jemele Hill talk everything from sports to pop culture but in a manner that’s more “barbershop chatter” than “stodgy objective reporting.” In short, it feels more as if the viewer is talking shop with their own close friends, in a stark contrast to ESPN2’s other show First Take where it feels like they’re getting talked down upon.
The best parts of the show is when they invite guests to their desk, and while discussing the hot topics the whole thing ultimately dissolves into a non-stop assault of jokes and wisecracks. Well, in today’s (December 9th) episode Curren$y visited Michael and Jemele, and everything quickly went left.
As it turns out, Michael and Spitta went to the same middle school together, and Shante let all kinds of funnies loose about Michael. From his unfortunate run-in with a horse to his athleticism on the playground, it was one of the show’s funniest moments thus far.
