With Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude arriving in just four days, Pusha T drops off the video for his latest drop, the Puffy-produced “Crutches, Crosses, Caskets.”
Perhaps inspired by Ziplock P’s unflinchingly cold lyrics, Puff Daddy provided him with one of his hardest beats ever. As such, the video is as rigid: similar to Travi$ Scott’s video for “Antidote,” Pusha’s clip is set amongst the backdrop of a sinister-looking carousel. Ston-faced and scantily-clad nuns, and dark and ominous lighting, punctuate the menace of the younger Thornton’s rhymes.
