Two weeks ago, J. Cole announced that the North Carolina rapper’s Forest Hills Drive homecoming concert, which featured the likes of Drake and Jay Z, would come to HBO in the form of a documentary special. The documentary is set to air on January 9, but ahead of the premiere, HBO is releasing four half-an-hour episodes documenting the whole experience.
Along with the release, J. Cole unveiled a letter explaining the whole mini-documentary series:
The first episode, “Fuck Money, Spread Love,” is available to stream below, and it follows announcing 2014 Forest Hills Drive and the aftermath. Episode 2 will drop December 23.
