It’s been two months since Marvel unveiled their latest set of Hip-Hop Variants, but that doesn’t mean they haven’t remained busy.

Taking some time from showing off new designs, the comic book juggernaut put their focus on the physical side of things and have been releasing a handful of covers every week.

I’ve managed to get my hands on a fair amount thus far, and I’ve gotta say, the whole process of showing up to comic book shops before they open to secure my copies has been fun as hell! The days of hitting the local record shop on Tuesday mornings to cop the latest albums are long gone, but Marvel managed to bring back some of that feeling. I was a liner notes fiend back in the day, so I really appreciate the nostalgic experience. Thanks guys!

Ok, let’s get into the newness…

The legendary UGK are the focal point for today’s release with Bun B’s TRILL and Pimp C’s The Naked Soul of Sweet Jones both on the receiving end of an ill Deadpool makeover.

Check out both below – in animated .gifs, of course – and be sure to check our interview with Marvel’s Editor In Chief Axel Alonso.

Normally, we see 4-5 new designs each release, but this is UGK we’re talking about. Solid work, Rahzzah!
