Set to premiere his first HBO special, “Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming,” on January 9th, 2016, J. Cole and his Dreamville team have been releasing a warm-up viral series “Road To Homecoming” which details some of the key moments of Cole’s life and career over the last year.
After episode one spotlights the making of his album 2014 Forest Hills Drive, episode two chronicles the planning stages of the Forest Hills Drive Tour. The cameras follow J. Cole and everybody involved as they keep the globe-trotting affair running relatively smooth. There will be two more 30-minute “Road To Homecoming” vignettes leading up to the premiere of the documentary in the new year.
