With all of the music that has dropped today, the one thing I’m the most interested in seeing is ironically not an album at all. Set to debut during the wondrous glut of NBA games, the new trailer is another humorous – and expletive-loaded – preview into one of the more fascinating and unorthodox superhero movies of 2016.
While expanding on the story of Wade Wilson’s transformation from freelance mercenary to the Merc With A Mouth, the sardonic humor (and accompanying ultra-violence) that is a beloved trademark of the comic book series remains fully intact. From the looks of things, it’s more than enough to make everyone forget about that terrible, terrible version fans got bamboozled with in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. February 12th, 2016 can’t come soon enough.
