Ever since the inaugural launch of Mass Appeal‘s fresh and innovating Rhythm Roulette series, fans and crate diggers alike have been vehemently demanding an episode featuring the likes of 9th Wonder, DJ Premier and MF Doom, just to name a few.
Yesterday, the good folks at Mass Appeal, along with Santa answered the calling – finally linking up with 9th Wonder. The Dream Merchant hit up his local mom & pop record store The Record Krate in Raleigh, North Carolina – and per the norm, was blindfolded while he dug up three random pieces of wax.
The Jamla Records head honcho ended up clutching albums from The Temprees, Charly McClain and Jermaine Jackson, then headed to his home studio to scour through his latest finds. Watch what type of magic 9th conjures up which also catches the ear of Rapsody who ends up in the booth spitting to the freshly minted beat. No one can do it better.
