As Shake speculated last week when Rockie Fresh released “Thought About It,” methinks we’re getting closer to the release date of the Chicago native’s The Night I Went To… mixtape.

Over the last couple of weeks, Rockie has released a quartet of singles, including the Hit-Boy-produced “All I Want,” and with his fifth song in as many weeks coming to light, there’s only so many songs you can release before the whole project is out.

The mixtape’s name is The Night I Went To…, and “The Landing,” just by name alone, sounds like it could be a return — or the final song of a project — from wherever Fresh is heading. The song has a spacious, piano-led beat with a sense of pride and hopefulness from the MMG artist’s words. Rockie Fresh praises everyone around him before claiming, “now a young nigga ready for whatever,” as the optimistic song closes.
