Part-time weatherman and full-time rap troll Waka Flocka had a hell of a couple of years, and made some heads roll (including yours truly) when he released his ironically titled I Can’t Rap mixtape in 2014. Since then, the former Queens-born ATLien has shown and proven that he can indeed rap his ass off. He’s no Talib Kweli or Jay Electronica by any means – but the man can kick a rhyme or two.
Today, Flocka links with Young Sizzle, aka Southside – fresh off co-producing Kanye’s “Facts” – for something brand new titled “New Year.” A few days late, but it’s whatever.
