One of my favorite television shows, for years, has been a trio of Comedy Central originals: South Park (this last season was hilariously confusing, however), The Daily Show and The Colbert Report (now called The Nightly Show). Since longtime host Jon Stewart left his post at Daily for greener pastures, the series has gone through a bit of a change since its new host Trevor Noah came aboard. You may even say that things have gotten a bit more… (epic pause)… colorful!

The one constant, however, has been its familiar theme song, which I did not know was titled “Dog On Fire” until now. Although it’s been tinkered with over the last several years, perhaps its biggest update to date come courtesy of Timbaland. The producer – who recently released a mixtape, King Stays King – has now taken the familiar, folk-rockish tune and added some trapped-out bells and bass-heavy whistles. Listen to it – as well as catch the entire episode, if you’d like – below.
