Hit-Boy is slowly buy sure preparing an HS87 takeover in 2016. Alongside a new offering from B-Mac the Queen and a forthcoming new EP from Audio Push, Hit has been releasing a steady stream of solo output as well. Whether celebrating the holidays or teaming with the likes of A$AP Ferg and Little Simz, Hit has come through with a fair share of bangers.

He has returned once again to show off his latest collaboration, “Yadda Yadda” with Wale. Despite its Seinfeld roots (and its description, “used as a substitute for actual words where they are too lengthy or tedious to recite in full”), the DMV hero gets rather dexterous on the hook throughout the bass-less heatrock as he goes back-and-forth with Hit-Boy on this self-produced number (he holds his own on the track as well). Similar to when Fat Joe found his groove lyrically after he discovered Big Pun, Hit-Boy’s pen game has gotten sharper in recent times and that is definitely a good thing.
