Last night (January 12th), Wale made history as he became the first-ever rapper to serve as an opener for President Obama’s State Of The Union address. Following that accomplishment, as well has his and Smoke DZA’s ode to Curt Hennig “Absolutely Perfect,” he returns with a new offering perhaps inspired by the billion-dollar Lottery pot that has encapsulated (and, in some ways, displayed the sheer greed of the people) the country.
Wale also announced that he will release his fifth album Shine, following 2015’s The Album About Nothing, sometime in 2016.
