Boss moves. Rick Ross has just announced that he has officially signed a deal with Epic Records. News broke on the label’s Twitter account that the MMG boss had joined the #EPIC family.

A photo showing Ross, Epic Records Chairman and CEO L.A. Reid, and Sylvia Rhone also surfaced on Instagram along with a video of Rozay and Epic’s JD Anderson—and a bottle of Belaire Rosé, obviously.

Ross signed with Def Jam back in ’06 releasing his debut album, Port of Miami, along with seven more studio albums through the label. Ross’ most recent project, Black Market, was released last December and debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard Top 200.

Back in December, Rick Ross stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club where he revealed his contract with Def Jam and the MMG label deal with Atlantic were both up and re-negotiations were currently being discussed.
