Look who’s back.
It’s been a few years – nearly four, to be exact – since Santigold dropped an album, 2012’s Master of My Make-Believe. However, after a new single, the ILOVEMAKONNEN-guested “Who Be Lovin’ Me” towards the end of 2015, she gave hope to fans that she will make her formal return to the music world. She has since announced that she will drop her third album, 99¢, on February 26th.
Following the catchy “Who Be Lovin’ Me,” Santi returns with “Chasing Shadows.” The single is trademark Santigold, but it’s the accompanying video (which was premiered by TIDAL) which is noteworthy. The video features the Roc Nation artist all by herself, Eric Carmen-style, following the holidays. Check out the somber new offering below.
