Remember the lead up to Church In These Streets? Jeezy released at least 10 videos for songs new and old (“Change the World,” “Mr. 17.5“) in support of his LP released in November. While I’m sure this new video was recorded in the process of filming the others that dropped last year and saved for later, we now have the visual for the Janelle Monáe-featured “Sweet Life” from Church In These Streets.
The video follows the narrative of a Young Jeezy escaping the street life and turning into a far-more successful and sweet adventure. A poised and gorgeous Monáe pops up throughout Jeezy’s life as he wishes for a life of fame and money, taking it from prison to the red carpet.
