The lineup for the 2016 installment of Coachella, to some, feels a bit… underwhelming. Following performances like Kanye West’s career-defining 2011 set, the infamous 2Pac hologram in 2012, and the first performance of OutKast in over a decade in 2014, 2015 was “highlighted” by Madonna tongue-kissing Drake and a 2016 lineup that includes (yet another) reunion of groups Guns N Roses and LCD Soundsystem. Understandably, the anticipation is relatively low… until perhaps now.

Appearing on CBS’ The Talk to among other things promote his new film Ride Along 2, Ice Cube announced that during his performance he vowed to reunite the surviving members of N.W.A.: Dr. Dre, DJ Yella and MC Ren (and maybe the Arabian Prince too?). Cube also promised to reunite his other crew, the Westside Connection with WC (who normally performs with Ice Cube) and Mack 10. While there is no official confirmation outside of what Cube has said, fans now have another reason to be excited for Coachella.

Cube has also premiered a new trailer for Barbershop 3: The Next Cut, which arrives in theaters on April 15th.
