Some of the best things to ever happen to music is easily the legend of Prince Rogers Nelson. He has sold over 100 million records worldwide, has won GRAMMY, Golden Globe and Academy Awards, and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. However, what propels him into deity status are the nigh-legendary tales others have told about him.
While the best – and funniest – story has easily been Charlie Murphy’s Chappelle’s Show anecdote, The Roots’ Questlove has shared his own accounts of his encounters with Prince. A while back he shared a story that included Eddie Murphy, the now-shuttered World On Wheels in Los Angeles, and some extravagant roller skates (read thatside-splitting report here), and now he returns with another story, the GOAT-level drummer talked to his e-home of Okayplayer and expanded on this randomly hilarious tweet:
