Top Dawg Entertainment has so much talent running up and down its roster. When were gifted with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah Rashad, ScHoolBoy Q and others, getting music from the label’s president, Punch, is just excess joy.

Sampling Erykah Badu’s “On & On” on “Gone,” Punch touches on his success, personality, past and all things that come with being involved with one of the world’s most talented music labels. Over the relaxed, soulful production from Cardo, Punch mentions he’s “trying to hide in plain sight” while attempting to handle the success of life, which comes with people trying to pull the platform he’s reached from under his feet.

Fun fact: The Cardo production was lifted from Curren$y’s More Saturday Night Car Tunes.
