Seattle duo Carl Roe and Ripynt, who originally made their presence known here at 2DopeBoyz last year with their Emilio Rojas-assisted “Fire Sale” are back for the new year to simply put it – “Rock Bars.”
Along for the ride is another fellow emcee representing the Northwest – Landon Wordswell (Eugene, OR). Together, all three effortlessly maneuver and operate their best 16s over Brainstorm (of Dyme Def‘s) weighty breakbeat loaded instrumental.
“Rock Bars” is set to appear on the duo’s upcoming EP, Afterlife/South State Street which follows on the heels of their LP Martians which dropped 5 months ago.
