Teck-Zilla, the genius producer behind 2014’s Son of Sade: An Ode mixtape is back, once again with another out-of-this-world concept instrumental/sample flip project.

In near similar vein to the aforementioned Sade tape, the Nigerian-born, Montreal-based beat maker/producer has decided to channel “the voice and spirit of Michael Jackson” with this 10-track treat
titled Joe Jackson Kids. Everything from the amazing “Human Nature” to the Jackson 5’s “Find Me a Girl” are flipped with class and style.

As to how he came up with the name of the project, Teck explains:

I got the title from one of my favourite Jeru the Damaja records, “Whatever,” off his Wrath of the Math LP.” He continues, “That line always cracked me and my brother up every time, so it was kinda like an inside joke for both of us. Just remember to say ‘check it out’ after the title.”
