Since signing with Interscope in July, Tory Lanez has kept busy with an official single (“Say It“) and a pair of mixtapes—The New Toronto x Chixtape 3—released on Christmas Day.
Now, with his major label debut on the horizon, the Toronto native returns with a remix to his summer hit. Once a catchy, radio-friendly tune, LA producer Shlohmo drags “Say It” through the mud a few times on the updated version.

Lanez also revealed Wiz Khalifa’s best friend, Kanye, reached out for a possible remix, but doesn’t think anything will come to fruition.
He’s still holding out hope that Kanye West will jump on Say It, after his team reached out asking for the instrumental. “I doubt it will, but just to hear that somebody like Kanye is listening to the music was amazing,” Lanez told USA Today.
