According to Fakeshore Drive, the respected Chicago-based hip-hop blog, Kanye West will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live February 13, just two days after his new album his set to drop. So far, there hasn’t been a guest host announced, so a musical guest wouldn’t have been confirmed yet, either.
As Fakeshore Drive points out, Kanye will be in New York City for Fashion Week. It was also rumored earlier in the week he was going to debut his new season of clothing at Madison Square Garden along with premiering his new album, SWISH Waves.
The performance would mark almost a year to the day since the last time Kanye West was on SNL, he performed a medley of “Jesus Walks,” “Only One” along with debuting “Wolves” featuring Sia and Vic Mensa live for the first time.
UPDATE: It’s been confirmed: Kanye will be the musical guest, alongside host Melissa McCarthy.
