Amidst the pointless back-and-forth between Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa (which may or may not be a play at some promo for the two who both have albums dropping in February), the excitement for the release of Yeezy’s seventh studio album, Waves is palpable. You can feel it in the air.
Despite the project being 12 days out from its reported release, Kanye seems to be squeezing in some major, last minute studio sessions. Last night, 2 Chainz posted the following image which shows ‘Ye in the studio along with A$AP Bari, super-producer/engineer Mike Dean and gospel legend Kirk Franklin.
The Kirk Franklin appearance definitely gives more credence to ‘Ye’s claims that…
This album is actually a Gospel album

To further add to the excitement, another photo was posted showing Andre 3000 and KiD CuDi locked down in the studio. Now whether or not that means all these artists will actually be featured on the album remains to be seen. As we all know, Kanye likes to keep a large pool of talent around him while writing his album.
The now fabled notepad/tracklist has been updated.
A Snapchat 2 Chainz posted of Kanye turning up with everyone in the studio.
Finally, ‘Ye decided to retract his statement speaking on Wiz’s child.
God’s dream… Never speak on kids again… all love … all blessings…
