After flipping 16 Zips and Shittin’ On The Industry with his latest mixtapes, Young Dolph is finally ready to deliver his debut album.

Nothing out of the ordinary, right? An artist drops a few mixtapes, kills a few features, and proceeds to follow up with their first album. We’ve seen it happen many times, but in this case, there might be a little more to it…

The title of Dolph’s debut? King of Memphis—a name fellow Memphis native Yo Gotti has been running with for quite sometime. Now, obviously Gotti doesn’t “own” the name, and this all could be a simple coincidence, but the fact that Dolph is dropping on the exact same day as Gotti’s The Art Of Hustle? It makes you wonder.
