See, this is that “other” part of Kanye West that I can’t be bothered with, where the music gets pushed to the left in favor of the Page Six-style extracurricular antics.
In between his performance on Saturday Night Live, an enterprising type took it upon his or herself to catch him in the middle of a patented blowup session. Apparently verklempt because something happened with his set, West huffed and puffed to members of his own crew (according to TMZ, although Page Six — in all of their infinite glory — claimed that he yelled at SNL staffers), and despite that it was clearly a private conversation was loud enough to warrant someone to record the whole thing to make a quick buck.
Comments on being better than Stanley Kubrick, Picasso, and others here. A quip about Taylor Swift — essentially, a reiteration of his hook on “Famous” — there. It’s at this point what people should expect from Kanye. Yeah… I don’t care about any of this. I mean, at the time of this piece I haven’t even gotten to The Life Of Pablo yet (not because I don’t want to; it was Dilla Weekend in New York during Presidents’ Day Weekend, and his works are all I’ve been listening to since). But because some people get their rocks off on this stuff, hear it below.
