Mobb Deep’s Prodigy has some really dope solo albums to his name: 2000’s H.N.I.C., 2007’s Return of the Mac and 2013’s Albert Einstein (both with Alchemist). P will return with a new solo effort, the interestingly-titled The Hegelian Dialectic (for those unfamiliar, a cursory Google search), sometime in 2016.
Kicking things off, Prodigy drops the first single from the project, “Tyranny.” Like many of his songs throughout his illustrious career, the track is a sample-fueled smattering of darkness backed by some of his trademark gravel-voiced tough talk. Hopefully The Hegelian Dialectic is full of this kind of music.
