After multiple teasers, loose singles and various videos, Rihanna released her eighth album ANTI in the most anti-climactic way possible: it got leaked by TIDAL (or was it Universal?), and her anticipated tour has been postponed due to production problems. However, her album still managed to top the Billboard charts in its first full week of availability.
Meanwhile, the Drake-featured lead single “Work” continues to soar high atop the charts, and that single will soon receive a matching set of visuals as well. What’s funny? I suggested that sneak peeks of the video reminded me of Sean Paul’s “Get Busy” (which, still, looks like one of the top-10 house parties of all time), and lo and behold it looks just like it.
