With DJ Skizz‘s Different Worlds Music Group imprint successfully off the ground, the New York-bred producer – currently residing in Los Angeles – is readying for the release of a new collaborative EP.
Titled Cashmere Dice, the joint project will showcase the raw, lyrical capabilities of Rim, who represents Brownsville’s Da Villains – a rap duo who was just recently under the tutelage of the late, great Sean Price.
Listen to the lead single, “Llamas” below, and keep it locked for more.
Bonus: DJ Skizz provides a grimy soundtrack for D.I.T.C. affiliate Milano Constantine, flipping Adrian Younge’s “Psalms” (off Something About April II – out now). Word on the curb that the Uptown emcee is currently wrapping up a joint EP with Marco Polo and Skizz on production.
