Nearly a month after liberating his 2DOPE cut “The Motions” in collaboration with Bronx bomber Chris Rivers, Boston lyricist Rite Hook returns to the batter’s box – ready to swing another one out of the park.

This time, the stakes are raised a bit higher, as he showcases his natural “On the Spot” songwriting capabilities while fellow Beantown producer The Arcitype constructs the song’s foundation. The result is a detailed behind-the-scenes look into the two skilled musician’s minds.

The audio version of “On The Spot” is now available for free download exclusively through the DopeHouse, by entering your email address in the provided widget below. As a sign of your support, Hook will be pull one email submission per day at random, through this Friday (Feb. 26th) to receive a free “From the Wrong” T-Shirt. Each winner will be announced daily, and will be contacted via email for size and shipping details. Shipping expense is free of charge. Although a release date has yet to be confirmed, be on the lookout for more updates from Rite Hooks forthcoming LP, Modify, which is set to drop via Leedz Edutainment.

As a bonus, we’ve included Rite Hook’s cover of Stone Temple Pilots’ 1993 hit, “Creep” which also serves as a tribute to lead singer Scott Weiland – who tragically died on his tour bus on Dec. 3, 2015.
