A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records has an eclectic array of signees, from Danny Brown to even Lil B at one point. Atlanta-reared oddball Rome Fortune, who signed to the label in 2015, is now poised to release his debut project with the label Jerome Raheem Fortune on February 26th.
Following the Kaytranada-produced “Dance” and the introspective “Love,” Rome reveals the latest single “Blicka Blicka.” Despite his colorful persona, Rome has a penchant for revealing parts of himself as well as his struggles. “Blicka” is no different: in the song he speaks on his issues with his families, as well as his dreams & goals. It may never come across as such upon first glance at the green beard and tattoos, but never judge the book by Rome’s cowboy boots.
