Over the past year or so, DJ Khaled has wisely built his brand beyond music on social media app Snapchat. Whether he’s getting lost in Biscayne Bay, yelling at his lion statue, giving advice in “cloth talk” sessions or unveiling new Future albums, Khaled acting a fool and always having his phone ready to catch whatever celebrity he runs into has brought the aging Khaled back to a younger demographic.

Weeks after getting his own Apple Music radio show (where he debuted EVOL), Khaled has officially announced he’s being managed by Jay Z and his Roc Nation Management group. And as a gift for signing, Sean Carter gave Khaled the last remaining original Roc Nation chain. “I don’t own another one of these,” Jay said. Bless up, Khaled.
