Shake and Mek have consistently told me how much they love Rhymesayers’ Soundset festival held in Minneapolis at the end of every May for the last nine years.
This year, the lineup is larger than ever bringing in A$AP Rocky, Future, Common, The Roots, Anderson .Paak, Jay Rock and Mick Jenkins as well as plenty Rhymesayers signees and affiliates including Prof, Doomtree, MURS & 9th Wonder and, of course, Atmosphere.
The one-day festival is set to happen May 29, the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Tickets for the festival go on sale Friday at noon EST on Soundset’s website.
