It’s not arguable to say that Royce Da 5’9″ has been in a zone lately. His career has been reinvigorated since signing to Shady Records with his Slaughterhouse brothers, and his lyrical pen has been sharper with every release, punctuated with the critically acclaimed LP PRhyme with DJ Premier.

Nickel Nine is returning with a new solo album — his first since 2011’s Success Is Certain — on April 15th, LAYERS. He visited Shade 45’s Sway In The Morning today (March 3rd), and while there he debuted the first single “Tabernacle” from it, produced by Symbolic 1 and J. Rhodes. Hear it below.
