Using Malcolm Gladwell’s adage that it takes 10,000 hours to theoretically get really good at a certain skill, Add-2 takes Kanye West’s “30 Hours” to showcase said talents. The 10,000 hours roughly amounts to practicing a skill for 10 years, and the Chicago native easily surpasses that mark.

Over the course of the four-minute remix, the Jamla Records signee takes aim at the people who rap like Desiigner who think they’re the future of rap (when in fact they’re really just off-brands of the artists who are really hot), shows off ridiculous flows and leaves an overall long-lasting impression. This boy was rapping his ass off. Both he and OG Maco handled this song really well. It’s amazing what be done with this beat when Drake isn’t ghostwriting on it.
