Before J57 called Brooklyn, New York home, the Brown Bag AllStar hustled raps, phone books, Bill Nye the Science Guy coloring books and Gobstoppers in Long Island. Probably. The last parts are pure speculation.
Setting aside his multiple hustles, J recently reached out to Absolute, a producer/emcee also from Albany, to collaborate on “57th Chamber.” The single marks a reunion of sorts, after the two shared the stage way back in 2008 during the first BBAS show.
