Shortly after unleashing their lead single “The Enemy,” nu-skool indie-rock/alt-rap band Antcs — comprised of Nezitiq Mute’s Jesse Mechanic and J57 quickly return with a one-two drop.

This reunion between two long-time Long Island friends (since high school) has been one that’s been in the works for a minute.

Jesse Mechanic was the first artist that J57 ever produced — Jesse was a rapper that went by Citizen Vein, back then, in 2003. Jesse and J57 (then; Citizen Vein & JLOG1C) were apart of the group called The Kill World aka TNK along with Hi-Q & Moth. While J57 started Brown Bag AllStars, Jesse, Hi-Q and Moth created The Nezitiq Mute; all while still collaborating with J57 on his song “Broken Moments” from The Ports EP (2012).

Today, the duo deliver their debut EP There’s No I in Antcs, along with the first official visual, “Ox & Gin.” Listen and watch below.
