Price and Octane win, man.

The boys of Audio Push, who are signed to Hit-Boy‘s HS87 label, stopped by Ebro’s Beats 1 radio show Tuesday night for an interview, during which they talked about working with the Cali beat maker. “I was like 14 [when I met him], and he literally used to live right around the corner from me,” Octane said Audio Push’s relationship with Hit-Boy. After being asked what their favorite Hit-Boy record was, Price said it’s one they haven’t even wrote bars to yet. So, naturally, he pulled out his laptop, pressed play, and the two traded bars for four minutes.

With the benefit of hearing the beat in the past, Price and Octane knew how to flow just right with the banger, which featured organs, soul samples and trunk-knocking drums. While this freestyle is incredibly high-energy and well-worth the four minutes, we’re gonna need a CDQ of Audio Push rhyming over this beat ASAP. Actually, we’re just going to need more Hit-Boy beats in general. My car’s speakers need them. The world needs them.
