Over the first two months of the year, Boosie Badazz released an album each month — In My Feelings (Goin’ Thru It) and Out My Feelings (In My Past), respectively. Since beating cancer, the Louisiana native has been on a tear, and two days ago, he announced yet another project, Thug Talk, as his third in as many months. Over the album’s 17 tracks, Boosie keeps largely to himself outside of a couple features: the late, great Pimp C, Webbie and Z-Ro.

All of this lands in preparation for Lil Boosie’s official Atlantic Records debut, Boosie BadAzz: Bigger and Badder Than Ever. He spoke to HipHopDX in February about Thug Talk, where he said the album will “describe the life of a thug”:

Thug Talk means a lot of people won’t understand it, but millions will understand it. If you don’t understand it, you’ll have to listen to it and understand the life of someone living life as a thug. It’s not that we’re made to be thugs, but put in situations to be thugs.”
