With Flume‘s Skin LP set to release any week now, the Australian disc jockey and producer stopped by BBC Radio 1 to debut a new song. Often when artists stop by the radio station’s Live Lounge, they’re asked to cover a song from another artist as well, and Flume chose Alessia Cara and her hit single, “Here,” as his tune.
After a performance of his album’s lead single, “Never Be Like You,” with Kai, he debuted a song that will land on the album but doesn’t have a name yet. With the transitions between the performances consisting of talk about Skin and surreal nature of blowing up to the world over the last couple years, Flume completed the interview with the cover of “Here.”
